Oren, being a long lived golem, is hardly surprised these days. Probably never surprised, but that might be giving him too much credit. That said, nowadays he works at the Grind, making drinks, cooking up good food and baked goods, and making sure customers don't cause trouble.
It's the holiday season so that means there's more customers than usual this time of year since a lot of people are looking for a place to stay warm or get a hot drink. So when the door opens, they'll be greeted by a man with long dark hair and beautiful silvery eyes behind the counter.]
[aw, but Nora loves the quiet ones! she's at the end of a decently sized line, which she has no problem with; she's a patient girl. plus, it gives her a little more time to chat with the poor sap who has to work the line during the holiday season. if it'll have even the tiniest chance of cheering them up, she'll try...!]
