["Almost normal height", huh? Well, he's might be closer to Riku now, but unfortunately his best friend had to go and get hooves and a set of wings and horns himself.

It's been an interesting evening, one that Riku has a feeling is going to be cut short. It's hard to hang out with your best friend when one of them turns into a haze at the slightest bit of Darkness. But hey, it is kind of funny to run your claws through a cloud of your best friend and not actually hurt him.

(It's a bad habit and he should stop, but it's hard not to do it. This place has gotten to him in ways he couldn't think of.)

But for now in the twilight, they can both be active at the same time. A certain demon sits back on what would have been his heels as a human, long tail curling ever so slightly at the tip, a playful smile on his lips. He's restless tonight. Restless and hungry. That could be a dangerous combination.]

So what do you feel like doing tonight?

[Wings folded against his back as best as he could get them--despite how long he's been like this he's still a bit clumsy with all four--Sora's settled next to his friend looking a bit more hazy than normal; the glow around him a bit harder to focus on. The dying light is making it harder for him to hold his form but, like Riku, there are urges that he just can't resist as much as he wants to.

So when Riku offered to hunt with him? Of course he was going to say yes.]

Eating. I..may have been putting it off for a couple of days. [The eyes on his temples are narrowed but his expression is still a bit sheepish, lion-like tail flicking as he stretches his arms over his head, spreading his fingers wide and exposing the eyes on his hands for the moment.]

What do you want to go after?

[Hmmm, the demon looks carefully at his friend. If he's this hazy now, they'll have to stick to some more well-lit areas, like the city. Otherwise there's no point in hunting together.

A part of him wonders what it's like to be in that kind of state or to be a nephilim. Couldn't possibly be like the burns he gets through holy magic.]

It's not as if we have a lot of choice, Sora... [His tail flicks again, the darker nature coming out again. He tries to play it off with a slightly more apologetic smile as he stands up straight himself.]

Why don't we keep to the city and see what we find? That way I'm not hanging out with a cloud all night.

[An adult. Some teenagers....preferably not children because that makes him a little uncomfortable.

The angelic-monster frowns some, studying the other being before relenting with a nod.]

Alright. But if push comes to shove, we'll try the outer villages, okay? The city doesn't exactly make it easier to sneak up on people.

Heh... I do.

[Whatever humour there was in his voice instantly seems to disappear. He doesn't blame Sora in the slightest for being uncomfortable and Riku knows his best friend's preferences too. As much as being might have changed him, it makes Riku uncomfortable as well when he thinks about going after kids.]

Whatever makes it easier for you. [He shrugs with an easy smile.] I know the night isn't really your forte, so it's your call, Sora. Wherever you want to go, I'll go.
